Dr. Springer and Dr. Szczerba will work closely with you, listening to your desires and concerns, in order to develop the best treatment plan for you. Our office staff, including Sally and Patricia, is also available to address your questions and concerns as well as to provide emotional support throughout your treatment. During your complementary consultation, Dr. Springer and Dr. Szczerba will discuss various treatment options with you and answer any questions you might have regarding your plastic surgery procedure. We will also discuss the costs for your cosmetic surgery procedure involved and the payment options we offer, including available financing. As is the case with all elective cosmetic surgery, full payment is required prior to the date of surgery. However, we do offer another payment option in addition to cash or credit card. For many years we have offered financing to our cosmetic patients, in order to allow more flexibility for our patients. When you come into the Chicago office for a consultation, our staff will discuss all of the prices with you and, if you are interested, they will give you the names of the financing firms with whom we work. With breast reduction, in some cases health insurance companies will cover the some of the costs. Many health insurance companies require a specified amount of tissue to be removed from each breast in order to provide sufficient justification for coverage (referred to as “medical necessity”). During your consultation we will discuss your individual medical needs and insurance policy with you and help you to obtain coverage for the procedure if at all possible.
