Breast Implants ID Model Update: Did Jenkins Have Help?

Reports are coming in today that Ryan Jenkins, the accused murderer of Playboy model Jasmine Fiore — the woman whose body was identified by the serial number from her breast implants — may have had help from two women after Fiore was killed.

This morning, the Los Angeles Times reports:

Investigators said they are looking at whether one unidentified woman aided Ryan Jenkins when he was hiding in Washington state and a second woman helped him in British Columbia, including checking him into a motel where he was found hanged Sunday night.

At this point, investigators aren’t sure whether or not the women were aware that they were abetting a fugitive.

Police believe that Jenkins, a reality TV show contestant who was once briefly married to Fiore, killed her and then removed her fingers and teeth before disposing of the body. The mutilated body was found in a suitcase in a garbage bin. Despite the missing teeth and fingerprints, Fiore was identified when investigators traced the serial number from her breast implants.

Breastfeeding with Implants: Playboy Models, Reality TV and You

Many women wonder if breastfeeding is possible with breast implants. This is in the news in a big way today as reality TV star Kourtney Kardashian and ex-Playboy model Kendra Wilkinson have expressed a desire to breastfeed their babies after they give birth, each due to do so later this year.

So the question: can one breastfeed after receiving breast implants?

“The answer is a resounding yes!” says Board Certified Plastic Surgeon Dr. Kirk Moore of Salt Lake City. He explains further that “the gland in the breast that produces milk is not disturbed in the slightest during a breast enlargement, and the implant material cannot be transferred to your baby.”

There you have it — and this applies not only to reality TV stars and Playboy models, but to the rest of us as well. Breastfeeding is seen as advantageous over formula-feeding for a variety of reasons ranging from better immunity for the baby to a lower rate of obesity for adults who were breastfed as infants.

The child of a woman with breast implants – whether silicone or saline – can enjoy these benefits as well.

Latest on Model ID’d by Breast Implant Serial Number

The case of Jasmine Fiore, the model killed by ex-husband and reality TV star Ryan Jenkins, has taken another turn today. The Los Angeles Times and other news organizations are reporting that Fiore’s white Mercedes sedan may hold clues as to whether or not Jenkins had an accomplice in the murder or cover-up.

Jenkins, who later committed suicide in a hotel in British Columbia, had taken great care to insure that Fiore would not be recognized, removing all of her teeth and her fingers in order to stymie investigators looking to verify her identity. Investigators prevailed, however, when a serial number from a breast implant from the body was traced to the model.

Investigators are now focused on whether or not Jenkins had any assistance. The investigators are aware that a woman checked him into his hotel in British Columbia, but her involvement in any cover-up or crime is unknown.

If he had an accomplice in the murder in California, police are hoping that the white Mercedes will give them the pieces of evidence needed to draw a clearer picture of this sad event. Breast Implants USA News will continue to follow this story.

Breast Implants Help Identify Body

In the sad and disturbing story of the disappearance of model Jasmine Fiore, a clue that helped solve the case and lead to the prime suspect was found on Fiore’s breast implants.

From CNN:

Law enforcement sources have told CNN that Fiore was identified through the serial numbers on her breast implants.

The suspect in the case, later found to have hanged himself in a hotel room in British Columbia, was former reality TV star Ryan Alexander Jenkins. He had attempted to make identifying Fiore’s body impossible by removing parts of the body most often used for identification – namely, her fingers and her teeth.

What he didn’t count on was that her breast implants were traceable through the serial number and her doctor. Once the body was identified, a manhunt was underway, and authorities traced Jenkins to British Columbia rather quickly.

While there can never be a happy ending to a story such as this one, the senselessness and violence of this particular event will lack any possibility of closure for those close to the victim. As Jenkins appears to have taken his own life, justice will unfortunately not be served.
