Have you ever stumbled upon a plastic surgery or medical term that you didn't know the meaning of. If so, we understand. Some of the terms are not only hard to pronounce, but difficult to formulate a meaning out of. Several of the terms do not use prefixes or suffixes common to the everyday language. For example, if you never heard of the term Rhinoplasty, would you be able to figure out it's meaning just by looking at it? To the everyday person it would be quite challenging, however those familiar with medical terminology would know that "Rhino" refers to the nose and "plasty" refers to molding or reshaping.
