Breast Lift At A Glance
A breast lift procedure is a great way to alter the size and shape of your breasts. Breast lifts are usually performed to reshape and lift up sagging breasts. As the skin loses its flexibility, the breasts often lose their shape and firmness and begin to sag. Your plastic surgeon will remove excess tissue, and with the remaining tissue, reposition your breast. This plastic surgery procedure typically takes anywhere from 1-3.5 hours, while most patients are back to work within 7-10 days. My Breast Lift USA - Breast Lift Surgery Information
More and more women today are electing to undergo Breast Lift surgery as surgeons develop more cutting-edge ways of combating the effects of age and childbirth on the appearance, elasticity and consistency of breasts. Breast Lift surgery, or Mastopexy, reconstructs the breasts so that excess skin and fat are removed, creating tighter, more contoured breasts that resemble the more youthful, pre-childbirth breasts. Some women choose Breast Implants along with Breast Lift procedure to further enhance their breasts, depending on the look desired. Mastopexy or Breast Lift surgery will also address the area surrounding the nipple, which can become elongated and stretched.
My Breast Lift USA is your resource for information on Breast Lift Surgery and the qualified, board certified plastic surgeons that perform Breast Lift Surgery. At My Breast Lift USA you'll find articles written by our featured board certified surgeons as well as before and after photos.

Breast Augmentation - Augmentation Mammoplasty
Breast augmentation is the name of the surgical procedure performed in order to enhance or enlarge a woman's breasts with the use of breast implants. It is also commonly referred to as Breast Implants Surgery and can be performed using saline or silicone breast implants, depending on the patients' desired look and feel.
Who Is An Ideal Candidate for Breast Augmentation Surgery?
There are many reasons why women consider breast augmentation surgery, ranging from the desire to have larger, more shapely breasts, to recovering breast shape and volume lost due to childbirth and age, to breast reconstruction after mastectomy. Candidates for breast augmentation are women who desire to enhance their body contour to fit their body shape, type and proportions. Breast augmentation may help a women to feel more self-confident about her body image.
Breast augmentation can also correct slightly sagging breasts or breasts that have lost volume due to pregnancy. The goal of surgery usually is to create a natural, fuller breast rather than one that appears "over augmented". Women that have a breast asymmetry, congenital abnormalities or have undergone a previous mastectomy may also be good candidates for breast augmentation, but may also require more specific procedures in conjunction with the breast augmentation surgery, such as the breast lift, breast reduction or breast implant re-visioning procedures.
Consult with your plastic surgeon to determine which procedure is right for you. If you don't have a breast implants surgeon, use the Surgeon Locator tool at Breast Implants USA to find a board certified breast implants surgeon in your area.

Benefits of a Breast Lift
A breast lift can rejuvenate, firm up, and shape up older appearing breasts. It can also reduce the size of an enlarged, stretched areola (the dark pink skin around the nipple). The incisions are around the areola and, when necessary, along the natural contours of the breast. Once the excess skin is removed, the nipple, areola, and breast tissue are lifted up to a more youthful, natural position and the remaining skin aligned to reshape the breast.
